In English, we hurriedly finished our Mandala project, which was just a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. In science, we finished the written portion of our test, another huge weight! And then it was time for the fun! In P.E. we had quick square dancing dances, and then it was time for band, where we almost finished watching Home Alone. Almost...we were right at the very important exciting part, when we had to go for the assembly. Oh well, there's always next year...The assembly was just as I expected. We had to do the 12 days of Christmas again, it wasn't as bad as last year, actually. This time though, I got to sit on the benches, so it wasn't as bad as the gym floor last time. Oh, and while I was heading out, I didn't get squished that bad in the crowd of people rushing to get of the school. After school, my sister, Yunyi, and Celinna came with me to Metrotown, and we had a little lunch, then did some quick shopping for Christmas. It was nice to spend the last day of school with some friends!

T2 B21: Synergy Christmas Party!
Wheeee! I had tons of fun today! For once this week, it made me forget about all that homework looming up. It was just so fun! Some of my friends decided not to skate, so that was only one of the down sides. We skated at Robson, and before we stepped on the ice, it was already bumpy and hard to skate on. But it was still fun, teaching April and Fang how to skate (and the guilt when they fell) and chasing each other around and around the ice. We had time for fun group photos before we left. I love field trips in high school, because you have so much more freedom than being forced to stand in neat, straight, quiet lines while your teachers count heads and herd us back to school. I loved today, it made me feel so much happier, so much in a winter spirit.

T2 B20: It all comes down to that Collab
Thank goodness Collab was scheduled today. It was perfect, and it certainly saved my life. I've barely had time to study for the Science test, but Collab was the only time I could, and turns out that, the test wasn't all that hard. I knew I got some things wrong, but most of the things was information that Ms. Jay never told us about? Apparently it was all in our textbooks, and we just had to read carefully...

T2 B19: One down, 4 to go!
Ok, I've made it thus far. Science test tomorrow, Mandala due tomorrow, Science fair work, and other little homework slipping in between. Enough said. Back to work.

T2 B18: Holy week
So this is it. It's the last week before winter break! I can't believe it's so close. But I'm actually quite loaded with projects and homework still. Now, it's less of hoping for the holidays to arrive. It's more of hoping I'll be able to survive this week, with all it's homework and projects due. So, back to fending off all that homework!

T2 B17: Awake.
I feel all alive and well again. Thanks for the awesome sleep. For skating today, I was so tired. I actually felt like staying in my bed, and just skipping it altogether. Except I got up, and ran through the freezing cold and rain to go skating. And it was worth it! I learned to do my spins properly today, except I keep rolling onto my toepicks without meaning to. Sigh, that's going to be hard to practice. As long as I don't get too dizzy...

T2 B16: Sleep!
Hurray, a little time to sleep in! I've been mostly exhausted this week. Maybe it was just like the other weeks, but this week FELT tiring because of the upcoming holiday teasing me. Sigh. Must embrace sleep with open arms. SLEEP.

T2 B15: Whoa. French test!
Hmm. I've always thought that French tests and quizzes were a little too easy. I guess I've never had a actual French test in Ms. Todd's class yet. This time I actually studied for it. But hey, that paid off, because I actually like how she tested us. It was still all written, but it was a little harder then the tests I got last year, or the test from the student teacher. For one, it was a little challenging and fun.

T2 B14: Oh no, DEBATE?
There's that dreadful word again. DEBATE. And in science class? I still remember what it was like when that came up in science class. The last time we had a debate in science class was chaos. I've learned that Synergy 9 cannot have debates without a teacher that can control us. I'm sure we we're driving the student teacher crazy last time, with her trying to make us stay quiet. But that's kind of hard when we're jumping up and down yelling at our opponents.

T2 B13: French Project
Oh, my, 2 projects already? Due in the next two weeks? At least this french project is mostly in-class. Hehe, we're supposed to be creating weird inventions, and Mimi is my partner. It's going to be so weird and fun coming up with ideas and a presentation with her. It's going to be so unexpected. Something like a Pregnant Chef. Eh-hem. The Chef is a MAN. That's something you'll expect from Mimi. Expect the unexpected?

T2 B12: Mandala project
Oooh. A new project. It's pretty interesting, actually. We're supposed to make these humongous circle things with writing on them, about three books. Mandalas. I guess I'm lucky since my topic isn't really all that hard. We're supposed to share the space with two other books (we're in groups of threes) and our theme is Character Development, and we're not quite sure what our symbol is supposed to be. An ocean? Kind of hard to put down on paper. A butterfly?

T2 B11: 2 weeks more!
I'm hardly ever able to sit still. 2 more weeks! The halls of the school are filled with holiday cheer. It's so magical, and wonderful. It's reminding you of all those days you get to spend at home...warm.

T2 B10: Skating lesson
Hmmm, I think I'm starting to forget some of my jumps...Today, all of the sudden, I forgot how to do the Saw Chow (I THINK that's how you spell it, though I'm pretty sure I'm really off), and it was really weird. Good thing that that wasn't what I was learning today. I did waltz jumps around the circle, which really scared me, being all fast and such. I keep getting the feeling that as soon as I step, I'll mess up that surge of speed, and then I'll trip and fall. Grrr. That's got to be one of my New Years Resolutions for 2012. Learn how to NOT be scared to fall. I guess I'll have to get used to the soreness afterwards.

T2 B9: The REAL weekend
This started out just like a normal weekend. I looked at my beans this weekend and they actually grew! I'm so proud of them, I've always thought that the weather was too cold, and that they won't make it. But those small, little beans sprouted, and now it's a strong, healthy looking plant. Too bad the vitamin will probably kill them, but at least I'll be able to share the joy of the sprouting control group!

T2 B8: A glimpse at Weekend!
Ah, yes, the weekend. The long-awaited weekend has finally arrived! It's like a present. No wait. One more day of school to get past...
T2 B7: Endless Math
The one good thing about having math in the morning? My mind is all fresh, so at least I can attempt to solve problems without my brain being too tired, so something. The minus side? I get loaded with math homework, and it just makes me miserable, thinking about all the other homework to come...The endless math questions are like a promise that many more will follow. By the end of the day, my bag would just kill my back...
But of course you'll get used to it, after spending almost everyday like this! It makes you appreciate the Holidays, and wonder when it'll ever come around.
