Knitting..over and over again

So, I had my first knitting lesson from April. I got to say, it wasn't that hard, and it looked very simple when April showed me, but somehow, I just couldn't do it. I managed to get it right near the end, so I at least got a little done. At home, I couldn't remember the right why of doing it, and got it mixed up. Sigh, now I'll have to start over. At least I haven't knitted that much yet, and I sort of know how to do it. I guess I'll ask April for more lessons tomorrow. The thing is, I know how to do it once I get started, but starting the first line is pretty hard. Hopefully, I'll remember and be able to catch up on my knitting during the weekends.
Also, today was our last weight lifting class! I'm not that happy about it, because it really has helped me, and it was more fun than doing sports. We do get volleyball for 3 classes (a week) after this, but I'll sure miss weight lifting. I'm so glad Mr. Dykstra has been nice enough not to give us any written tests on anything so far this term, because I have a lot of friends complaining about how hard the test is going to be. I wonder how volleyball's going to be, but I really look forward to it, even if it's only 3 classes.
In French we watched "Mission: Possible" which was kind of weird and cheesy, but kind of interesting. The bad thing was, we had to watch it two times, even though some of us already knew what it meant, because it was mostly in French.
Whoa. The big surprise was when I walked into English. The desks had completely changed. Instead of being lined up in rows, they formed a huge circle. It was kind of fun sitting like this, since we could see everyone else. I think the last class was doing Shakespeare, so it was easier for them. Well, we did poetry today, and it was pretty fun. We got into groups of 2/3 and picked a poem to analyze. It wasn't really hard, and it was so fun! Later, we got to present them. The presenters today was really good, and it even amazed Mrs. Greskiw. Mimi, Leslie and I were supposed to go, but we were interrupted midway when the bell rang. Oh well, we get to finish them next class. It somehow feels different presenting in the middle of a circle, then in front of all these rows of people...
Stay tuned,
Dapple Grey
