Title Change!

As you can figure out by now, I've changed my blog title. I just felt that it needed to be more interesting. I mean, I've kept "Class AS Project" for a long time, and all of the sudden it seemed a little dull. I've had it since the first day when I was making my blog, and I couldn't find a name for it. Well, now it's called "Put It In Writing" which sounds more creative, I guess.
This morning, when I went into the washroom, I was all calm and relaxed. That was until I bent down to pick up my slippers and saw it. Two bugs. There was one on the ground, that was small, but had many legs, kind of like a centipede (or a millipede?). Then there was a big fly sitting right above the mirror. For some reason, I was just terrified and just froze there. It's not like I have bug phobia, or something. I just get totally creeped out. I mean, I've heard all those nursery rhymes about cute little harmless bugs, but this was different. I know I may seem like a giant to those tiny bugs, but they sure scare me a lot. My mom just scooped them up and placed them outside. I don't know how she does that, I guess I'll have to work on it.
After lunch I had piano again, but I didn't stay that long because my dad came to pick me and my sister up after we were done, and my brother was still playing piano. I got extra time to do my English poem analysis which sure took a lot more time than I expected. Actually, analyzing the actual poem wasn't so hard. It was just finding a good, simple poem that took forever. While I was working, it sounded like a storm was raging outside, and the rain was just pounding on my window. It got so loud, that when my sister came into my room, she got scared that the earthquake would hit soon. Well, the storm has calmed down quite a bit, but she sure got me thinking about that earthquake again...
Just after I had my piano lesson, my mind was still fresh on the topic of music. That got me thinking, we were playing this song in band called "Friend Like Me", from the Disney movie "Aladdin." No matter how hard I think of it, I only faintly remember that song, and I can't remember the scene where they played it. "Aladdin" was one of my favourite movies growing up, and so I was really wondering about this song. Well, I searched for it online, and this is what I got. NOW I remember. I hope you enjoy it, too!

Whoa, it sounds quite different with the vocal line. Of course, the instrumental part was only in the background, but it's more jazzy and way faster than the speed we play. Nevertheless, it sounds totally amazing, and I love the cute little part with the monkey at the end. Maybe my memories of Aladdin are getting rusty. In fact, maybe I'll go watch it again....after I finish my homework, of course.
A superblog like I promised,
Dapple Grey
