Burnt Out

So today, I spent the whole day shopping, and now my legs are really tired. Well, I had a relaxing morning because mostly I was just watching cartoons and knitting, because I really needed to catch up, since I didn't go on that knitting field trip. It was really fun though, so many little kid-dish cartoons that I remember watching when I was smaller. Sigh, it brings back so many happy memories! Well, I did manage to finish my scarf, so now I'm really starting to catch up. At least I'm getting a LOT better at it, and I can just close my eyes and keep eye contact for a really long time without looking down. My next goal is to close my eyes and be totally confident about my knitting. Today, I went shopping with my grandmother, and she wanted to go to Metrotown to look around. My sister and I tagged along, just because we were tired of staying home, and it was a nice day out, and it was a nice walk to the skytrain station anyways. We did 2 hours of shopping, and a ton of walking. I finally found a nice birthday present for my brother, whose birthday party is tomorrow. I really hope he likes it, because my wallet is now completely empty. Oh well, I'll just have to save up again. We also went to superstore, and bought some coffee, for those really sleepy mornings, where everyone is cranky. I'm just going to steer away from it all, since I'm already short enough. We got home around 2:30, and I had a big lunch, and then collapsed on the couch, exhausted. A little while after that, our family went out to Costco, and since I remembered I want to look around there, I went with them. But when I got there, I was so tired, and I had to force my legs to walk. I did find things that I wanted, including a huge pack of whiteout, which I'm in desperate need of. When I got home, I just collapsed on the couch, and didn't get up again until dinner time. And now I'm here, relaxing, sipping my hot apple cider, and resting my sore legs. To end my perfect day, I'm going to go watch some Mr. Bean cartoons while knitting, since those cartoons are the cutest things ever. Here's an example of one, it's Teddy's birthday, and I love how Mr. Bean loves his teddy bear so much, it's so cute! Enjoy!
Well, tomorrow I'm planning an spending the morning resting. I just bought Secretariat, an awesome racehorse movie I've been longing to watch, but was too busy when it was in theatres. I can't wait! I'll be sure to knit a lot while watching it! I have a recital at 1, and then my brother's party is at 3:30. I just know that tomorrow's going to be another happy day!
Hope you enjoyed the little cartoon,
Dapple Grey
