This morning, I didn't get to sleep in, since I had a piano lesson at 8. Well, my teacher decided that she wanted to give me a mock exam, since my test was in August, and I wasn't exactly ready for a mock exam. But I guess she wanted me to practice. I was ok in the beginning, then I just got worse and worse, and even I knew that I wouldn't get a good mark. My confidence just died. Turns out that I did in fact get a 79%, even when I thought I would score in the low 70s. Sigh, that means more and more practice, and speaking of music, I have to do my flute recordings soon, but it's so hard, and I have no idea how I'm going to do them...I guess that's even MORE practice. Great.
At least I had a relaxing lunch at this great restaurant, but most of the time, I just wanted to read my book. It's so good, with Greek/Roman mythology, I just can't put it down. It distracted me for an hour and a half yesterday, when I should have been reading my English novel. I guess I'll have to catch up tomorrow.
The rest of the day, I spent watching cartoons and knitting, it really is an awesome way to multi-task. The cartoons are a good way for me to relax, and knitting's just become something my hands just do by themselves. I'm just relaxing and working at the same time. Awesome!
