Since tonight was a concert night, and Jessie and Co. didn't want to go home, only to come back again, we stayed after school all the way until 6:30. It was actually pretty fun. I got a LOT of knitting done, since I dropped off the rest of my stuff when I picked up my dinner. We had an awesome time, and dinner was very yummy. It got kind of weird afterwards though, since barely anyone was at school, and the janitor was there, probably wondering what the heck we were doing that took us so long. The concert itself was fun also, and I just realized that it's the last one this year. It was so thrilling, being on stage with all those lights above you, and the flutes were just shimmering in the light. It was also fun to watch the others play, especially my classmates, and the senior bands/orchestra/choir. They so good, they just shocked me. There's such a difference between intermediate and seniors. The seniors play so much more better, and the tone is so much more nicer, and they can actually play probably double our speed and volume. But I wonder what it's going to be like next year, since barely anyone's going to be in band. Most of the people I know in intermediate band is quitting, or maybe advancing to a better band. I'm going to be so lonely...
Now for a recap of the day. French was pretty fun, and good thing I had a big breakfast before school, since we we're learning about foods and recipes in French. Then our teacher started talking about French fries, how good they were, how much she loved them, and where you could find delicious French fries. You can almost hear the growling of the tummies, because so many people started getting hungry. For English, we were stuck with grammar. We just spent the whole class working on 2 grammar quizes...Applied Skills was working on our dancing for Buskerfest. I was kind of hungry then, since Mimi and I helped Ms. Greskiw out with the book tests, but we lost track of time, and just skipped lunch. I was kind of confused with all the dance steps, but after a while I got the hang of it. It really isn't all that difficult, I just have to practice it a bit more at home. During the break before P.E. I just started munching on my sandwich, and I actually managed to eat all of my lunch. Turns out that we didn't have to do the Langara run today, but we're still doing it next week. We had fitness testing today. And that's about it. I'm definitely looking forward to the Collab day tomorrow.
Good night,
Dapple Grey
