Downtown Trip

Since I don't have piano today, my aunt decided to take my dad and I out for a bit of shopping and then Japanese cuisine for lunch. YUM! The rest of my family were out for dim sum, and I got to stay home because I wanted finish off my homework. Well, the trip to downtown was kind of my birthday treat, which was really nice of my aunt. We parked somewhere and then got to go shopping for a while. The stores there are so cool! I love the ones with more than one floor. Anyways, my aunt spent so long in Banana Republic, my cousin and I went up and down 3 floors trying to look for her. It might sound easy, but one floor had so many rooms, and then there were changing rooms on both sides, and the stairs were so long...The Japanese Cuisine was after that and it sure was good. Like, really good. I got to taste a lot of Japanese food that I've never bothered to try before. I was only sort of full, and there was this cafe next to it, and we got to buy a treat from there as well. I got a berry parfait, thinking that it would be small-ish, but it wasn't. After eating it, I was just really stuffed. Oh yeah, before I went home, my aunt gave me my birthday present, which I'm determined not to open until my actually birthday (This friday! Hurray! Pro-D!). I guess I'm testing my patience, and how long I can last.
Tonight, since I finished all my homework, I watched Black Beauty with my sister. It's for my sister's homework, but I LOVE the movie anyways. I've probably watched it a million times by now. But it's really good, it's my all time favourite. And I love the book as well. Sigh. It's such a good classic.
