For P.E., we're starting Track and Field. Thankfully, our P.E. teacher is really nice, and is letting us work inside, until the weather gets better. I have friends in the other class, and they have to run outside in the freezing cold and rain. Well, we did high jumps today, and when I first heard of it, I was kind of scared, since I've never done them before. But it turned out to be pretty fun, and still kind of hard. Mr. Dykstra's been doing high jump in high school, and since he's really tall, he's pretty good at it. But he makes it look really, really easy. He just seems to hop over the jump, without even trying. But for me, I have to launch myself over the bar, and arch my back to keep from knocking the bar. I can only make it when the bar is lower, after it's lifted, it gets way harder, especially if you're short like me. Well, I had to do my Book Talk today for English, which went well, and I kind of volunteered to go. I was all prepared, and it turned out better than I expected. I just had so much to say, it was hard to say it all without suddenly bursting out with different kinds of facts. We also heard book talks from Cynthia, Kevin D, and Kendrew. They were all really well done, and the bar is set pretty high. I've finally started on my second scarf today, and it's looking great! All I have to remember to do is to remember what kind of stitch I have to do. Since I'm doing a pattern, I have to remember what stitch I'm doing. It's kind of tricky, but it's a great challenge, and also, it looks pretty nice.
Knitting on and on...
