Every year at my old elementary school, we have this thing called "Multicultural Night". It's when people of all cultures get together, and experience other cultures. We send in dishes of food from our cultures, and we have a big dinner where we get to taste foods from other cultures. Well, the food was delicious! But it was more fun trying them out. It was a bit crowded, but it was still an awesome experience. When the show started we watched a fashion show for primary students. And they were so cute! I remember this girl in grade 2, Mia, and she had on a Japanese kimono, except the outfit was so well done that she looked so awesome and cute! There were also Scottish costumes, Hungarian, Indian...the list goes on. After that, we had a ticket draw, in which we won nothing, but it was fun getting excited over the tickets. There were also numerous dances, and I there was this Hungarian dance which I really liked. They were fully in costumes, and the dance was pretty cool. Another cool one was when a whole family came out to dance to this Ireland song. It was just so great. I also got a chance to talk to my old teachers, and they still remember me! Our family ended the night with a family photo shoot, which took pretty long, since the photographer took at least 20 photos in all the poses that you could imagine. Well, at least we have one good family photo, the last nice one we ever took was when my brother was still a baby...
G'night,
Dapple Grey
