Yay! Everyone should be getting all excited for spring! I mean, the sun is out, and it feels nice and warm. How I hated those dark, cold winter days. It's a easter bunny theme since Easter is right around the corner. Sorry if the words are a little small, I'll change the design again once Easter passes.
Anyways, I had French in the morning, and then English after that. We had 3 more book talks, and then we had to write 8 short poems. It was hard at the beginning, since we had to come up with the ideas, and once you have an idea, you still had to fit it in the structure of the poem. Haikus were first, and I had all these great lines, except they were always more than 5 or 7 syllables. Near the end, I came up with way more ideas, but I only finished 4 in class. I guess I don't mind having it for homework. Short poems are really fun to write!
We watched more of Slumdog millionaire during Applied Skills. I'm finally getting used to it now, since it was so weird last time, switching from Toy Story to this. It's so much more...real, and sad. It makes me so mad what the adults do to the kids...
In P.E., I was so glad we didn't have to change, because we had this drug talk. It was okay, and I found it pretty interesting. Ms. Salter was there too, helping. For the icebreaker, we had a RockPaperScissors tournament, which was surprisingly fun!
After school, I checked the library, and the book that I was waiting for a long time was finally back on the shelves. The horrible thing was that I realized that my library card was full. Noooo....I just hope that it's still there waiting for me.
